A month in London starts with a different question from a weekend: where will you need to be most mornings? King’s Cross is worth considering for a temporary work assignment, a study visit or the weeks between moving homes. Choose the apartment by its exact address and your everyday routine, as well as the number of bedrooms.

Staylio has two three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments to compare: one on Pentonville Road and one on Camley Street. They are different homes in different parts of the wider area. This guide helps you decide which to enquire about for your dates.

Pentonville Road or Camley Street?

The Pentonville Road apartment is at Hill House, N1 9FH. The Camley Street apartment is at 98 Camley Street, N1C 4PF. Use those locations when comparing routes: a search for “King’s Cross apartments” alone will not tell you which home fits your working week.

Working or studying

Start with the office or campus entrance. Compare the journey at the time you will actually travel, including the walk at each end.

Moving with family

Start with the bedroom layout, luggage and daily school or childcare journey. A higher maximum guest number does not mean more separate bedrooms.

Use TfL’s journey planner for the apartment-to-destination route. Your arrival at King’s Cross or St Pancras happens once; the journey to work or study may happen every weekday.

A base for a work assignment or study visit

If you are coming for a project, send the office address with your enquiry. For colleagues sharing, specify how many people need their own bed or bedroom. Three bedrooms do not automatically provide three separate places for private video calls.

For Central Saint Martins, check your teaching location first. The college’s official directions list King’s Cross and Archway sites. Use the address for your course or visit, rather than assuming every activity takes place in King’s Cross. Staylio is an independent accommodation provider.

What makes an apartment work for several weeks?

Picture an ordinary Tuesday: breakfast, getting ready, a working day, dinner and washing clothes. Compare the sleeping layout with the living and dining space. If someone will use a sofa bed, think about whether that leaves a comfortable shared room in the evening.

Ask about the exact laundry arrangement and drying facilities, cooking equipment, Wi-Fi and suitable table space. A photograph can show a room, but it cannot confirm internet performance or whether a particular appliance is available for guest use. Our London apartment laundry guide explains the practical differences.

For luggage, pushchairs or mobility needs, ask about the floor, entrance steps, lift access and any stairs inside the apartment. Confirm these for the home you choose.

Relocating when your move-in date may change

A temporary apartment gives you a base while you arrange your next home. Send your expected arrival and departure dates, and flag any uncertainty before booking. An extension depends on availability and the terms agreed; later nights are not automatically reserved.

Compare the full quote for the same dates and guest numbers. Check included services, any separate charges and the cancellation or amendment terms. For the wider moving checklist, read temporary accommodation when moving to London.

Questions about a monthly King’s Cross stay

Can I book either apartment for a month?

Enquire with your exact dates. The team can confirm whether either apartment is available for the whole period and provide the applicable quote and terms.

Which apartment is better for my commute?

Compare Pentonville Road, N1 9FH, and Camley Street, N1C 4PF, against your actual destination. Neither is the best choice for every office, campus or travel schedule.

What should I include in an enquiry?

Dates, number of guests, separate beds or bedrooms required, daily destination, approximate budget and any essential access or working needs. This makes it easier to compare suitable homes for the full stay.

Plan your King’s Cross stay

Send your dates and daily destination, and mention Pentonville Road or Camley Street if you have a preference.
